Unhappy parakeet fluff feathers

Hello everyone, I am new to this forum, just join today, and my parakeet has been having some fluffy feather problem for about 4 days, I have to wonder if he have bird mites, I am new bird owner for about 5 months. I have call and try alot of things

It sounds like he is just molting. They loose LOTS of the little fluffy down feathers during this time and you can also see new feathers growing in. I know when my flock starts molting it looks like I've carpeted the area around the birds with down feathers
