Saturday I got my new notebook and I spent almost the whole weekend to "make myself at home" on it. My last notebook was a HP and now I have a Lenovo. My new notebook has Windows 10 and at first it was a bit hard to get used to but now it's okay,I think. The last five years I only had Ubuntu. But I think I will ask my best friend to install Ubuntu in the near future too. I guess it's nice to have Windows and Ubuntu.
I won't be online on this forum as often as I used too and also I haven't been online on this forum Dec 5, 2016 but I do come offline on this forum so don't be surprise. The reason for me being not able to online on this forum is that I've got Seasonal Job (first day on Dec 5, 2016) and its from 3 or 4:00 pm to 11:00 or 10:00 it depends what time they give me each day. So I don't get enough time to come online on this forum as I don't get enough time during all this. So hopefully you guys don't mind. And thanks in advance.
I won't be online until after the 25th because I'm spending Christmas Eve, Christmas Day with my fiancÚ and all of our families. Don't worry about Reggie as he'll be coming downstairs while we spend time with the family so he's not upstairs on his own Apart from that I just wanted to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and I hope you get all of the presents you and your budgies wish for. I'm sending my season greetings to all of you and hope you're all in good health while this festive season lasts.
I'm not actually away, but I might as well be. I'm getting my house ready to put on the market in two weeks and it is a lot of work. Too much stuff! Can't believe how much I've gotten rid of and how much there still is to do.
I've moved the birds to their own room. I took the furniture from a small guest room and turned it over to them. Most of the birds seem to like it, but cockatiel Poppy is not the least bit amused. I understand it from his point of view--since he's not convinced he's a bird, why has he been relegated a bird room??? I've been spending as much time as I can with them, and with him in particular, and he's beginning to get over his crankiness.
