Thanks for posting. I agree with you about the open palm verses the finger. My birds prefer to sit on my palm. It must make them feel more secure. Very well done.
How do i get my budgie to not to freak out and not run away?
Hi guys, I have two budgies at the moment, when i do the exact thing from the first video, my little budgies just freak out and fly or go to the back cage,
so if i do this everytime and they get used to it, will they stop, so i can feed them?

Yes. They will get used to you approaching them if you do it everyday. Keep the sessions short until you feel they are relaxed enough to have you there for a longer period. Always approach them the same way in a calm and relaxed manner. When they fly off, just tell them that's ok and stand for a minute or two before walking away-good luck
