I have read on here that you can give budgies pasta. Would this organic vegetable pasta be OK?
Ingredients: Organic Durum Wheat Semolina, Spinach, Beet, Red Bell Pepper, Paprika.
There is absolutely no salt or artificial ingredients. The color in the pasta is natural. I bought it at Trader Joe's. I am asking mainly because of the paprika in the pasta.

Yep I think so. Pasta I'm sure is fine and I think I've read that parrots like chillis ...therefore paprika would be OK? Don't take my word for the latter tho I could be wrong!!

Bell Peppers are ok. If they eat it fresh, even better. It's high in Vit. C (but I would cut the stem off) and as far as I read, they can even eat hot peppers...
Birds love HOT peppers as they do not feel the heat from them. Just no kisses afterwards or YOU may feel the heat!!! They also love sweet peppers especially pepper seeds. Try placing a pepper core seeds and all into the bird cage and see.

Yes they can eat jalapenos.... they do not have the receptors for the capsicum to burn .... unlike me who cannot even cook with them without burning my lungs and feeling like I cannot breath.
Thanks everyone. I will give them a bit of that pasta when I get home to see if they will like it. This weekend I am going to have to get some celery, green bell peppers and jalapeņos and cut them up for them. So they can eat the pepper seeds too? This should be interesting...
