Default I have to give away all of my animals.

I am so so so so sad right now. I don't know what else to do. We just don't have the money any more to buy things for them any more. Me and my parents are both working hard and they're not getting the attention they deserve. I'm afraid also that they're health is suffering to some degree. I have decided to split them up among some of my friends. My fids are going to my pal Christian. He had budgies before, and I've updated his husbandry skills too. Goodbye Yuki,Nullah,Benjy, and Chiku. I am giving my snake Hemotep to my friend Caitlin, the girl in the wheelchair who I got stuck in the elevator with. And my cats are going to Hannah. My doggy is going to Josh. Goodbye my flock and I know you'll have a better home.

What a sad time for you, but well done for putting their needs first. (hugs)

Down to zero. Sad turn of events. Thankfully your pets have all found home.

Good luck to whatever you decide to do.

A tough decision I am sure. It is good that you were able to find homes for all of them.

That's really tough for you - maybe you can still visit them in their new homes? It's awful to work non-stop and not have enough money, I know what it's like of old. I hope one day your circumstances will change. Big hugs. Will you stay on the forum?

I'm so sorry. I'm very impressed that you were able to find homes for them though-- good job! Perhaps you can visit them?

How hard for you. You are sooooo wonderful to make sure that all of your creatures have the best even if you can't give to them now. Know that good deeds are rewarded. Things will come around in time. Hugs and kisses

Well, this is a discussion I followed on another forum (not for birds) a while back.

While it is hard for us to give up, it is prudent to know when the plate is full and something has to be done before the proverbial poop hits the fan. I am tipping my hat and commend you for realizing that things are on the rough side and you are taking steps to lighten the load.

Once you and your family have breathing room again you can reevaluate your situation.

You are lucky to have friends who can take your Zoo in.

So I will keep you in my thougts and send you some BIG cyber hugs!
