I'm so sorry about your darling Sky.

I think 6 is a super age. As the lovely Fareybee says average ages to range, depending on the type of budgie.

You obviously gave Sky 6 years of joy and happiness, she will be forever in your heart. Cherish those memories and the good times. Xxxx

Very sorry for your loss. It is hard to say goodbye to a loved one. This quote from Dr. Seuss has always helped me through difficult times like this: "Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened." I'm sure Sky had an amazing life with you. 6 years is a very normal age for a pet budgie to pass away and you have nothing to blame yourself about. I hope you can find peace in your memories with Sky. Love from the Netherlands.

I am so sorry to hear about your Sky. Unfortunately 6 years is an average lifespan for budgies these days, so you actually had as many or more years with her than many of us with our budgies. Be that as it may, none of us Ever have enough time with our little darlings - it's always Way too short.
Please accept my deepest sympathy -I pray you will be comforted in time with your happy memories of Sky

She clearly was the light of your life and a little treasure all by herself. I know she knew how much you loved her throughout the six lovely years you were able to have her with you.

I know it is hard when your best friend has to go forever. May her memory never fade from your heart.

Sky blue
Sky bright
The dawn is sweet
In morning light

Sky bright
Sky blue
When I see it
I think of you

Sky dear
Sky far
None is as precious
As you are

Sky far
Sky dear
When you're gone
You'll still be near

Sky night
Sky sleep
Without you here
I only weep

Sky sleep
Sky night
My sky has flown
Her final flight

Rest in peace, Sky. Fly high among the stars.
What a beautiful poem, Star!
