    Hi Bubusmommy,

Sorry, i have overlooked the visitor msg.
i don't think he answers email for free unfortunately. he has too many emails to work on from my understanding.

I paid for his consultation. you may consider to do so. :)

I don't think so, I did consider that when I first got Daisy but her feathers have grown back... its more the issue that even though she has flight feathers she can not fly.. her feathers do seem a little weak, but I think its more from bad nutrition when she was young. When I first got her it looked more like her feathers had been pulled out in a panic (like being attacked by a cat or grabbed by a child)

Unfortunately, Charlie was put down sometime ago now. He did have tumours. I convinced my vet to try to remove one and he wasn't able to get it all. So, it was inevitable it would return. He got 6 more months of reasonable quality of life, but the day he couldn't fly anymore, I had him put down and necropsy showed that he had a completely inoperable cancer at this point.

It is possible that his cere started to go blue again with some of the treatments he had along the way, I don't quite remember.

Hi! No change in yuki and lemmy. Yuki is still encountering a lot of tail bobbing and she doesn't look thinner to me. I don't want to catch her to weigh her just yet. Lemmy surely has polyuria. I think that she will have to go back to the vet for a blood test. They are 100% on pellets tho. Good birdies! Thanks for checking in with us : )

I personally keep the bag in the refrigerator and use it all. Kept sealed it stays good the whole time. His diet is going well. He weighed 43 grams today. We'll see how to tomorrow goes on the scale :p

He is great! Thank you for asking.
Currently he is playing with his bell-toy. It is 5:00PM, this is the time he becomes hyperactive ;)

Thank you so much for your reply! :D It's good to know that I can up her feed to fit her lifestyle! That makes me feel SO much better. As for veggies and fruits Ellie still won't touch them. But I'm not giving up! maybe one day he'll wake up and decide he likes them XD But once again thank you so much!

Oh! Also does the zupreem pellets affect poop color? I know that may sound like a crazy question, but sometimes his poop is orange and other times its the normal color it's supposed to be. The color changes when he eats all of his pellets. He is very active, talkative, and breathing just fine. So I'm slightly confused. Sorry for the long questions, by the way.

hello it's me again! :) I have a question about how much food I should feed to Ellie. The advice you gave me about the zupreem pellets and the seed worked very well :) However, I'm not entirely sure I'm feeding him the right amount. I'm worried I'm feeding him too little. In the morning hegets 1/2 teaspoon of the pellets and 1 teaspoon of seeds. In the evening he gets the same amount. As for fruits and veggies he still refuses to touch them. I will also give him a little bit of millet. It's part of "our" time treat :) If you get the chance would you let me know if I'm feeding too little. He also, even though he's eating all of his food, doesn't look as shiny or sleek as he used too... that has me wondering.

Interesting question about the cork. I buy the staff by the pound at a reptile zoo. It is not treated, I wash and bake it first.
I don't know about the stuff they use in houses. But since the budgies just chew but not eat the stuff, and the cork in the house is older..maybe it is safe? I don't know if they treated it with chemicals. Is there a way to find out?

Hello again :) I don't know if you remember but you recommended Zupreem pellets for me to try with my budgie, Ellie. The pellets were great and she actually ate them along with her seed. However she has decided she does not like them anymore and refuses to touch them.. Do you have any ideas of what to do??

Thank you SO much for all of your advice about tips on how to get my bird to eat veggies and pellets!! I did indeed go out and get the ZuPreem pellets for canaries, and my Ellie LOVES it! I could not believe my eyes when I took her food bowl out and the pellets were gone as well as the seeds! Thank you so much once again!
