Default Two parakeets lost in Madison, WI

On Wednesday the 19th, my in laws started the day with three parakeets, and ended the day with none.

Rhodan passed away in the morning after fighting a long illness.

Cagemates Fido and Rover were often let to fly around the home, but on this windy day, were caught by an updraft when the door was opened, both escaped together. Fido is blue with a white head, and Rover is lutino, all yellow with red eyes. It is believed they may travel together. They are not hand tame, but may step onto a perch, especially if lured in with millet.

I live in another state, so there's not as much I can do at the moment. If you need more information on the neighborhood, send me a private message. I'll upload a picture later.

Already posted on 911 Parrot Alerts, feel free to repost on other sites or recommend ones for me. Thank you everyone!

Hopefully your in-laws have contacted all the neighbors, put flyers up in the area, contacted all local vets and humane or animal shelters at this time.

I hope the two budgies will be reunited with their family.

Good luck to your in-laws in recovering them.

Hi there and to the forums!

I'm so sorry for the loss of Rhodan as well as the accident that led to Fido and Rover's escape! I hope that your in-laws are soon reunited with their birds!
