I do have a bit of good news that I forgot to mention after Goldie getting sick.

For a while, we've had issues growing Sam's flights in and she broke two blood feathers a few months ago and we all know that. BUT now I think she has about four maybe five flights in. She can go up, a bit too much across, and can prevent herself from crashing onto the floor but I still run over and make sure she's okay anyway. She hasn't broken anymore as far as I can see, and she can actually make turns in flight. Lemon and Bud like flying around and blowing my papers off my bed.

Smokey's been acting normal and none of them have shown any signs of sickness. He just likes jumping off his top perch and hitting the wall. I have no clue why. But we haven't been able to take them to get checked, so I've been keeping an eye on all of them.

We have three kittens, maybe about 5 weeks old. Snowball is a white kitten with grey ears and I think his/her tail is grey too. Cookie is a brown kitten. Kinda like a tabby I guess. Callie is a brown and white kitten and (s)he's the runt. I had to clean its eyes out bc they were matted but this morning they looked a lot better and were open completely. Looked a little watery but they've stayed open since then. The mother doesn't even care that I handle them I guess because she sees me handling them all the time. She likes me too so I guess she doesn't care.

Also, I got an academic award from my Spanish teacher of all the classes and I think my homeroom teacher also gave me an award. I have a graduation ceremony next Saturday. A relative said that if I bring my grade in English back up to an A then she'll get me a budgie and I just happened to see a pied budgie Thursday, so I have a goal now lol

But I think that's all the news I have.

Asheley,

Please ensure you keep the cats/kittens out of the room where the budgies are housed at all times.

Cats (and Dogs) are Predators // Birds are Prey

I'm glad everyone seems to be doing well.

Best wishes
