Default Which essential oils are safe for my budgie to breath in?

for a while now I have been trying to think of the best way to scent my home in a way that is safe for my budgie.

I decidd to either use one of those electric wax warmers (you can use essential oils in it instead of wax) which means i wouldnt need to use a candle as its electirc

or my other choice is to use a cool air diffuser

i know 100 % pure essential oils are safe for budgies to breath in but i have also heard that some are toxic.

Could somebody give me a list of essential oil scents that ARE safe for my budgie to breath in?

Thank you in advance.

Personally, I prefer using fresh and dried herbs and spices rather than essential oils.

Cinnamon, cloves, allspice and/or ginger can be simmered in a bit of water to create a warm and homey scent.

Lavender, Rosemary, Lemon Thyme, Bee Balm, Oregano, Basil and Sage are wonderful both fresh and dried and can be used to scent your home.

Taking an orange, poking holes in it and sticking in fresh cloves makes another wonderful natural scent.

With regard to using essential oils, please read the information in the Budgie Article linked below:

Safe Use of Medical Grade Essential Oils with Birds
