Red face My budgies have brigthened my life

Hello everyone.

So since leaving school I have struggled with a lot... but I am in business school now as well as studying equestrian and canine subjects so I can start my own canine and horse business and that I am excited about.

So to my budgies! I have only had them for 3 days and every day I have sat looking at them (from a short distance but not close enough to make them uncomfortable), watching their mannerisms, their preening and feeding. While watching I think about how beautiful they are and how lucky I am to have them. Every day I let them out of their cage for a flight around my living room (bird proof, don't worry) and I get to watch them fly and land near each other, interact and kiss etc. I am so lucky and they have brought me so much joy in such a short space of time and it makes me realise how happy I am to have them back in my life.

My budgies are so special to me. I hope I am never without them again.

I now have them to help get through everything, along with the rest of my "zoo" (3 dogs, 2 cats, 3 other birds and a horse). I have become one happy person with happy and healthy animals.

Thank you everyone for the guidance in getting back into keeping (and now breeding) them

~SASB

Chelsea,

I'm glad to hear your budgies are bringing a great deal of happiness to your life.

Animals are truly gifts from heaven which are beyond priceless.

Best wishes!

Budgies are such great little creatures and I'm glad they've bought you some joy and happiness.

I totally agree! Lemon is my only pet, but she's so gosh darn fun to watch. I've had her for almost 3 weeks, and I'm definitely a lot happier.
