I've updated the photo links to photobucket. I really don't care for it, for some reason the photos I upload to photobucket take forever to appear in the gallery. Maybe it is because of my MacBook. The pictures should work for everyone now, sorry about the angle.
As I take more photos I will try to do better. I don't want to pester the breeder too much, I would go every day if I could. As it is, when I walk in, she tells me to wait just a minute and she'll get my baby out. I feel privileged to have been able to basically have my pick of all the new babies fresh from the nest boxes.
I'm now able to see the pictures as well.
Thank you for taking the time to post them from PhotoBucket!
You little baby is simply precious!
I'm sure you and your daughters are very excited about the upcoming homecoming.
We'll be looking forward to seeing lots more pictures of your little one once s/he is home and all settled into the new environment in a few weeks time.
The breeder was also leaning towards girl, the pictures don't really show it well, but her face and head have a lot of yellow instead of white.
On the name front, my daughter has no sense of originality when it comes to animal names and she is the one who usually does the naming. Her bunny is Peter and the clownfish in my saltwater aquarium is Marlin, and she wants to name the budgie Opal. We'll see if it sticks when she comes home from the breeder.
The cage is almost ready, still setting up toys and such. We went with the medium vision for now, I know it has so so reviews here and there, but it seems easy enough to clean and I have plans to go with either a King or Prevue flight cage eventually.
