Hello everyone,
I am new to this forum so not sure if this is the right place to post this question..
I want to make some fun toys for my flock , can I use air-dry clay ? Is it safe for them?

I wouldn't. Your birds are likely to gnaw at it and may ingest it.

I guess that there are many types of air dry clay, but a quick search brought up this site:
CLAYFAQ
which states "...is not food safe..."

If you outline what you plan to make, then members might be able to suggest alternative mediums for you - for example, some members have used a paper mache with a flour & water mix as 'glue'.

Air dry clay is not recommended for use with budgies.

Natural products such as wood, uncolored paper, and jute are more conducive to toys for birds.
