We're trying veggie in the morning feed, and then seed at night. That way they eat their veggies during the day, and then get their seeds at dinner time. So I know they're getting all the food they need

So awesome that they started loving veggies that quickly!!
Have you tried the broccoli florets? I initially added them chopped up fine so they look like seed in with the seed itself. They got a taste for it and never looked back.

CONGRATS!!!! you did really well with weaning them on to their veggies. My birds still ignore anything green, but I'll definitely have to try your broccoli idea though! Thanks for sharing your process with us, I appreciate it. good luck on different veggies!

My budgies are hooked on broccoli. I've been putting seed out for them in the mornings now so I know they eat their seed, but yesterday the 2 budgies kept going back to the empty broccoli container, indicating to me they wanted more of it. (I have seed in one dish and broccoli in another now). So I refilled the broccoli and immediately they went to it and started eating it instead of the seed!
