Default Young budgie Gender

Ok so I just got two Budgies about a week ago, But I really would like to know how old/what gender my Budgies are. I've read so many different ideas of how to tell, but I cant seem to make a guess.
I think they are quite young. if they are, is it possible to tell?
Any insight you could give would be great! Thanks!
Here is a Picture the blue one (no name yet)

Based on the whiteness around the nares I'd say you've got two beautiful girls.

Hi! to Talk Budgies

Were the pictures you posted taken in natural light with no flash?

Both budgies are young -- they look to be about 10 - 12 weeks old.

From the color I see on my computer screen, the blue budgie's cere is already a fairly deep blue color which indicates it is an adorable little male.

The green budgie's cere appears a translucent pinkish-purple color in my screen which also indicates a male.

Yes all natural the brighter one was direct light from a window.
Wow so they are really young then! Is it possible to tell the gender at this point? Or should I just wait until they are older?

Yes, the gender of your budgies can be determined at this age.

We have a couple of staff that are experts when it comes to determining gender.
I'm sure they will weigh in on your thread when they are on the forum.

Unless those individuals say differently, I'm going with two males!
