Sorry I haven't updated on their progress. The assignments and exams finally let up just as I got bronchitis. I can finally move around without coughing my lungs out. I haven't had a chance to let them out of their cages. School ends in a month so I plan to bird proof my bedroom and start training them in there. The cages have just been beside eachother since the last post, I have left the doors open to eachother during the day, only today did they actually take note and venture into each other's cages. They spent all their time as close as possible through the bars so I'm not worried about fighting. "First contact" was lapis feeding charlie lol. They will be under close watch for a while, I'll leave Charlie's cage for now so he feels he can leave. Things look good

Brittany, I'm so glad that Lapis and Charlie are getting on well! It certainly seems that they will be very good friends

I'm glad you're feeling better, bronchitis isn't much fun at all

Thanks yah they seem to be content with the world as long as they are together. I came over to sit with them and they are just grinding their beaks away, happy as a clam.

As lap explores more toys, he gets sillier
He has an alternative way of playing with a dangly one.
photobucket won't let me upload the video, but its too funny not to share

Lapis looks like he's really enjoying swinging that toy around!

I bet he'd be great at "budgie volleyball"!
