Unless he's split for recessive pied, his irises will come in soon
I can already see the faint greyish irises beginning to show; this is typical of budgies in the teen stage. The white/grey irises don't fully come in until the budgie is a year old, so it could be a bit when you see them
Just a few more recent photos of Cisco taken on 2/6/2017. His adult feathers are pretty much grown in now except for a few wing feathers that were clipped by the pet store. He's got 4 main flight feathers on each wing, and can fly like a rocket ship around the house. He's quickly become a great flyer.
He's also talking a lot now. I've got some video and will post it up soon in the video forum.
Wow, Cisco has grown up to become a very handsome young man . I love the eyelashes. He looks so groomed and perfect!
Are his eyes still dark? I see a blue cere coming in!
Thanks ... yes, his feathers are really looking good now. His eyes are still dark, not sure if they will change or not but guess it takes quite a while if they do. Cisco is still only ~5 months old. Best I can estimate, he was hatched around Sep 4, 2016.
