I'm really very lucky to have an extra room that I can use for the birds I know, though it doesn't look that tidy when I'm ironing in there!

Not sure which plant you're referring to...the plant attached to the canaries (large vision) cage is basil, the plant attached to the budgies cage is 1/2 parsley/1/2 coriander. The branches are from a twisted hazel bush from the garden.

Ah.... herbs. I thought they were herbs, but wasn't sure which. ... I aspire to a bird room some day, and I really like the white cages. I think that's what I'll get for my next cage. One of the larger Prevue Hendryx flight cages in white. Thanks for posting... enjoying seeing Syd & Bondi and their set-up. Love the twisted hazel bush branches. I'm going to have to google that. I'm not sure if I've ever seen a hazel bush.

They look really nice cages, I really struggled to find larger cages with small bar spacings in the UK, I think you have much more choice over there - grass is always greener on the other side eh?

Syd and Bondi are beautiful together, and as others have said, they look like a matching set with different color .

I LOVE those twisted hazel branches. Besides being a play gym, they add an artistic touch, and they're just naturally shaped like that. You're fortunate to have those in your yard! I want some!

I think Bondi is definitely the braver of the two, he's been bouncing all along the branches. Syd has at least followed him up to the cage top.

Wow! The cage set-up and play area really looks great.
The hazel branches are wonderful!

I'm glad that little Syd is starting to become braver.
Soon, he'll be following Bondi all the way to the top of the branch!

Ok, I know this is no big deal for most of you here but it is for me - 3 months it's taken to get them to this point of happily eating off my hand!

Syd has finally made it onto the branches... and discovered that there's space to fit on a picture frame. I'm wondering if this new found confidence is connected to his moult finishing - maybe?

Also, I ordered some toy making parts, dismantled pieces of a swing I didn't like and added a couple more home made perches to create two new double height swings (using Mallorn's swing as a guide).
The boys have taken to them straight away; no 2 days of glaring at and manoeuvring around the 'new thing', just 2 minutes and they were on them!

Syd and Bondi are as adorable as ever! How sweet that they eat out of your hand now, that's great!

I love the swings you made them, and I'm glad they like them too Mallorn certainly loves hers!
