Possible breakthrough!!

Ok so, Willow's food and water dishes are at the back of the cage, far away from the door and front. So....I was sitting at the foot of my bed which her cage is near, just talking softly to her.....now she has never done this before; she suddenly stopped eating, walked ALL the way to the part of her perch that was right by me and just stared at my cocking her head back and forth. It was ADORABLE and she wasn't afraid!:budgie: :budgie: :budgie:

There is no such thing as a bird that is too precious. Their preciousness goes on and on forever! Congrats! My budgies are dreadfully scared of me. :( I am very impatient, so I can't really get them no afraid of me. :mad: Darn my impatientness! :( :violin: :crying2: :crying:

Willow is now trusting you, you might think of training her next? Congratz by the way, my budgie was afraid of me too when I first got, her. Then one day when I was changing her food and water, she came to my finger and kind of rubbed against it. Budgies are loving pets!!

Awww yay I know I'm so happy. Now what I've been doing is just sitting next to her cage for like 15 minutes at a time and just leaving my finger out like a perch perfectly still. now, she lets me stay about an inch away from her!!! :DD

Hey well done on your progress. When my little oscar starts bobbing his head up and down it means he's about to starting talk to me. It's taken me at least five months to get Oscar used to me but it's well worth the wait. Now I can't get my little rascal to stop talking!!!
