When?

My budgies i have noticed recently acting different. So i come to find out they are acting as if they are about to mate. they have a nest box and the female is pooping larger than normal and the male is tending to her needs like feeding her. A lot of the time i see the female coming out of the nest box but still no eggs. she seems bigger than normal but i have never seen the two acuatally mate. So are they evr going to mate or are all these things false?

Can you take a few pictures of the poop many people get exited im not saying you are but they think its gets bigger but when I say bigger I MEAN BIGGER 10 budgie poops.If he is feeding her taht is a good sign...is she staying in the nest box for long periods of time?

The signs look good,be patient with them and let nature take it cause :) youve put in the nestbox but the rest is down to them ;)

When se poops she shakes her butt.

if i remember right, its 10 days after they mate she will lay an egg.

Yeah about that it could also be 8, any where from 8-10 days....:)

Someone I know who used to breed normally had the egg layed 9 days after mating, so you guys are spot on!
