I don't have a cat, but is it only in the morning that your cat throws up? Is your cat taking any medications? Do you know what your cat is eating all the time?
Is it possible that your cat has hairballs? It is pretty common for cats to vomit if they have hairballs. Surprisingly, you would think that the cat would vomit up the hairball. Well, this is not the case. A hairball usually resides in the exit to the stomach and when the cat decides to eat, this stimulates the stomach to contract and push the food out.
If your cat is vomiting more than once per week on average, or is losing weight, you should bring your sweetie to the vet. If that is what is happening, the vomiting may be caused by your cat having ingested a foreign body (e.g. a toy, string etc), inflammatory bowel disease, kidney disease, stomach tumours, diabetes, or thyroid disease.
Please let us know how your sweetie is doing!
Oh I think that is a problem what color:S ...I have a cat he is so cute he is 10 mothns old now!

i agree with budgiekin, if youre cat continues to be sick then a trip to the vets would be the best thing. Let us know how hes doing .

I have a cat and he is 13 years old like yours! Sometimes he is sick, but it doesn't go on for very long. I agree with Budgiekin and bluebird - take him to the vet if it continues
I don't have a cat and I'm glad I don't! (Bad experience.)

i have 3 cats, 15, 7 & about 3. all girls.
the middle one is always puking after she eats, but shes a long hair, and always has hairball.
what does the throw up look like? is it just food, is there hair, or bile?
if there is bile, i would deffiantly take it to the vet. if its hair, do you use a hairball treatment? its always best to be on the safe side, if you feel somethings not right, have a check up.

I have two cats but they now choose to live next door. I think it's for the best really since I have the Bobby, Benny and Nero my cockatiel. :)
I have a female called Princess and a male called TJ. Next door tempted her with food and now they live there permanent but I do look feed them when she goes on holidays. :)
I haven't the courage to take them away from her even though they were mine. :o

No that's what I was a little annoyed for at first but I got used to the idea. The first cat I had, Princess was a type of Persian and my next door neighbour likes them kind of cats and the cat just took a fancy to her and after she started feeding her which I wasn't aware of at first then she moved there all together. I know it sounds strange but that's what happened.
I was a little upset but after all I wouldn't want to force cat to live with me. :o
So I decided to get budgies which would be happy living with me and they are very happy where they are now. :D
