LOL...Thanks...I am 100% terrible at picking the gender of budgies!! It took me 2 hours to pick Lex and I thought it was a female..his name at first was eponine (for 2 hours at least). I also thought Chloe was a female. The girl told me it was. There was either this one or one with an opal luish colored cere..which she said was a boy!! :S

I really wanted a female. It will be in a different cage as Lex and Clark so I didnt worry about breeding. I just wanted to have more females in the house. :D

I would *almost* bet that the one she said was a boy was a female. :p That's almost always the case. They see the blue on a baby girls cere and associate it with male, see the pink and associate it with female. It's the exact opposite! I guess Chloe needs a new name, bit more masculine. ;)
