Because he's been so difficult to work out, I actually wrote to the secretary of the World Budgerigar Organisation to try and find out, this was his reply:-
The Colour Standards that is written on the WBO website is for the
exhibition coloured birds and of course yours will fall into some colour
category.
Your bird is bred for the pet market and is very nice coloured bird and in
most cases the breeders for the pet market tend to breed on the colony
system where birds will choose their own partners in a large flight and then
the colour mix will be endless.
Although the pictures are very clear and sharp I still can not visualise the
markings on the wing. The bird is a Yellowface White Blue cock but from the
wing marking he could also be a Spangle as well.
