whats your budgies favourite food?

i am suprised at how my budgie prefers her seed over pretty much everything else.....what things do your budgies like to munch on?

#1, and #2-#10 are millet. #11 is celery (especially the leaves) and #12 are organic sunflower seeds (without the shell or the skin, one half at a time, fed by hand; spoiled).

definitely millet. they also like to peck on trill toppers though :)

Millet, of course, but they go insane for broccoli and bok choy too. Blinkie in particular loves broccoli, he pounces on it as soon as i put it in the cage and makes happy chirps and mumbles.

Slonik goes crazy for lettuce, he likes a lot of other vegetables but I can easily bribe him to do things he doesn't want to with lettuce.

Eucalyptus is their favorite thing to eat! they enjoy their regular veggies, but dont get millet very often, but do enjoy it when they do :)

Carrots and broccoli are Boys favourite. I didn't realise they could eat the flower from dandelions! I'll have to give him one to try.

Blinky loves his millet.He still won,t touch any veg or fruit
Sparky eats some fruit and veg but prefers millet and wholemeal bread.

Kenji loooooves lettuce! he preffers it over anything, though he goes crazy for millet too =)
Kenji hasn't really tried anything yet, I did give him some millet yesterday, which he devoured withing in hour XD He didn't stop until it was gone. He eats alot... He'll be a fat budgie if this keeps up XD

miss jane nibbles on loquat leaves (an exotic fruit tree). i put fresh branches in, with blossoms and a few leaves still attatched, she always seems happier when i put a fresh branch in!

Mine all adore millet, though Chip and Dale have a close second with Dandelion leaves.

Besides from millet, mine love carrots, especially Minty who gets it all over her cheeks and she ends up having orange cheeks, hehe! The aviary birdies also love celery leaves :)
