Tiki has been with me for two weeks now and is such a pleasure! He has established himself quite well and is very playful and chatty! Tiki loves attention and to be babied. Tiki is so outgoing and always greets us with what we now affectionately call a wing and leg! I am not sure of Tiki's age but believe he is quite young, perhaps 4-6 months. Tiki, of course, loves his millet spray and for the first time today devoured celery (a new favorite I'm sure). Grapes, banana, and apple have been offered but Tiki is somewhat hesitant to partake in these delights but has offered a slight nibble!! Tiki is a beautiful sky blue and creamy cloud white with adorable black button eyes. He laps up water droplets with great zeal when offered on finger tips and is just learning to step UP on my finger! Tiki is quite amusing running back and forth in rapid fire motion across his perches and gets us smiling when he does the splits, wedging one foot on the side of the cage while the other stretches to grasp on a favorite hanging toy!
Since I am a new budgie Momma, I hope to chat and learn from you that have sound advice and experience! I am so happy to have found this community!
