Help!

I need help. My budgies can fly extemely well now, they can fly back into their cages now! Just one drawback: they are TERRIFIED of me!!! I put one finger in their cage and they freak out! How do I get them to not be afraid of me?

clip thier wings.If you have a problem cathing them use a pillow case tahts what I do see what direction the budgie is flying and cath him or her in the pillow case.:)

Seeing as they've had clipped wings before i wouldn't think redoing it would change anything. Spend a lot of time with them, talk quietly to them, even read out loud to them. Get them used to your presence and try to gain their trust, don't try to push them to become tame faster than they want to. You have to remember that some birds are just going to be bird birds forever, others will be great pets. Be really patient with them and i'm sure they'll warm up to you.

Spend alot of time with them and they will get used to you. They are just nervous, because everything is new to them. Bert was really scared of me at first but after spending time with him, he really warmed up to me.
