I also think he looks male, a photo with no flash would be great, but i'm not sure what type of camera you have. If you can get one near a window, in the middle of the day :P that would probably mean the flash doesn't go off.

Cotton to me looks like amale even with the flash pretty high. There does seem to be alot of white on the cere, but the flash could be causing that. The blue on the side of the nostrls look pretty dark which to me says male.

I could see why you are confused, but it's normal for two males to flirt with each other. I have males that prefer males than females.
