Back from NYC (it was a fantastic trip), and back with a loss...

Three days after my return, my old friend Harald left us.

He was my first budgie, I found him 3 years ago in front of a shop.
I fell in love immediately. Fortunately, nobody missed him, and I kept him.
This was the beginning of my birdie-madness.

He changed a lot of things in my life.
He reminded me of something I had forgotten for years: How important animals and nature are for me.
Because of him I found a life much more according to my soul.

If I hadn´t met him, I´d never believe that one could love a little budgie that deep.

I am so greatful that he came in my life.

Thank you, Harald. We´ll see us again, my old friend.
I´ll keep you in my heart. You have a very special place there.

All my budgies (except Ernesta) have old fashioned (in my ears very funny) names.

I am so sorry about Harald. I am glad that Harald did not leave you while you were away. That would have been worse, I think.
