Went to the petshop today and fell in love. This is my new baby, Cookie. I'm not sure what mutation he is, he's almost all white, he's got very few black stripes on his head, and a patch of grey just underneath his wings in the back. Pics aren't very clear, but does anyone know the mutation, and can anyone take a stab at the gender? Thanks :)

Can't see clearly enough to make a good guess about the gender, will take a stab at male though. Don't know the mutation but sure is pretty.

Cookie is beautiful. :D
By your description (can't tell from photo) I think Cookie is a Recessive Pied.
As for the gender I would say male aswell.

Thankies :)

I think male too, cere is mostly pink, almost no ring around the nares. And you can't really see it that well, but there's a grey patch on his back, isn't that patch a characteristic of recessive pied?
Edit-Thanks A-n-M!

Any splattering of color is a characteristic of a Recessive Pied.
Dominant Pieds have a much more uniform splattering of color.

I'd say male because to determine the gender of the budgie you look at the lower beak. If the lower beak is brown, it's a female and if the lower beak is blue, it's a male!:D

You mean the cere? This is true, but only with older budgies. At least older than my two newest budgies. They both have whitish/purplish/pinkish/blueish ceres. Some people are very good at telling the gender from an age before it changes to blue for males or white/tan/brown for females. I do believe that a female adolescent budgie will have a ring of white just around the nares, whereas a male won't?

I'd say he's a Recessive Pied Cock.

I Beleieve it is a male and it is a white delute because the discription of the white delutes is the following :
#1- Looks like albino with deluted cheek marks.
#2- few blue or black marks here or there .
#3- Black Eyes.
#4- the rest is white.

Best wishes , real cute boy
