In Memory Of A Special Little Guineapig

This morning I got the very sad news, that my dear little Sugar did not make it through the night.
Of course I am in tears, but I am sad for her little mate, Peppa, who doesn't know she has passed =(

Sugar was a brave soul. A fighter and a good friend. She looked after Peppa when she was sick, its a shame Peppa could not have done the same.
I feel for Sugar that she died in an unfamiliar place, all alone. Although she was more comfortable, and was asleep. She probably didn't know anything about it, she was so very shut down. From what the vet said she wasn't in pain.. I just wish I was there with her when she passed from here to the Rainbow Bridge.

I will let Peppa say goodbye to the body, then I will place her in her own special little box, with the words "Sugar, August 2002 - April 2007. Loving pet and good friend. We love you and you will be very missed. Rest In Peace little one =]" In this box will be her favorite blanket, and a lock of Peppas hair. She will be buried in my garden, under a very special little Beech tree. =']

I love you my darling Sugar, I hope you will be waiting for me, at the rainbow bridge, when my time comes =] We'll miss you.. <3

Peppa says goodbye, and that she loves you and misses you very much, and she says that she hopes heaven is as good as they say it is :o <3

I'm very sad to hear that she didn't make it *hugs*. Did the vet say he knew what was wrong with her?

The vet didn't know what the fluid in her belly was, but it turned out she had a heart murmer, and her heart failed =/

Now Peppa is all alone, but I have another sow that I will try and pair her up with as soon as shes over the trauma xx
