This is the palace my budgies live in. It is 64"wx30"hx21"d. It has a divider that I can use to separate the cage in two - I use it sometimes at night if there is a lot of squabbling going on. The budgies can actually fly in it which is nice.

I also have 2 other cages. One is a small hagen cage 17hx20wx12d that is on loan to my mom, and the other is a 24wx16hx16d. I have two birds in the second cage right now - Max who was in quarantine, and Jewel who was being pecked by the other budgies.

I would love to see pics of your cages or aviaries.

And my aviary.

Ozzie's in a little spare cage at the moment, but i'm hoping either i'll get a cage with a divider or i'll be able to put him in with Blinkie.

Well the coldest it gets here in winter is maybe -2C overnight and budgies are actually able to survive very cold weather so long as it isn't a sudden change form warm to cold.

No, i have asked people and as they both get at least 3 hours out of their cage every day that cage will be great for them. :)

shawna could you give me a link to the site you bought that cage from? How much did it cost?

This is one of my two small outside aviaries. This one houses a pair of breeding Quakers. The other houses my 29, or so, parakeets. Each aviary is 6 ft long, 6 ft. high, and 3 ft. wide. So easy to build. I also have a larger one (12X8X4 ft but the Quakers chewed out of it and I have to repair it.)

I bought it from www.birdcagemart.com. I think I got a good deal with shipping and everything it was around $400 Canadian. US citizens can get it with free shipping and the price was about $219 when I bought it. So a really good deal for them. I shopped around for cages in petshops, etc, and there was nothing that could compare for the price. Smallish cages were selling for over $200. I'm very very pleased with it.

The CountryRoost.com has big cages. I got the breeder cage for $165 US dollars. It is 18" x 30" x 60". Has a stand and comes in different colors. There's 4 doors. My budgies use the top two side door to climb to their gym.
