I have this mentioned in the site rules list, but I feel this needs its own announcement/reminder. Note that I'm not singling any person out. I'm just making a general statement with regards to image sizes in posts (this doesn't really apply to attachments or the photo gallery). Whenever you embed a photo directly into your post (not leaving a link or adding an attachment), I ask that you keep your photos no larger than, let's say, 500x500. Let's see how this works out.
I'm asking that you obey this rule as a courtesy to the other members. Aside from distorting the tables, some members may have trouble loading large photos. Because of this I ask that when you embed photos in your posts you keep them within these size limits.
If you need help resizing your photos prior to posting them, just send a PM to a photo resizer (http://talkbudgies.com/showthread.php?t=929) or a staff member and we'll help you out.
Now, because you have the opportunity to have your photos resized prior to posting, and now that a formal announcement has been made, any photos exceeding these limits will either be removed or turned into links to the photos. This will apply to new threads created. Old threads are grandfathered through this and need not be edited.
Thanks.
