I would think the answer would depend on what you want to do. If you don't want babies then you can just addle (shake) the eggs, or chuck them and replace them with fake eggs. If you want to breed then probably a nest box would be the best thing.

If you can't get a nest box....then you should give a concave spot at the bottom of the cage using paper or cordboard...a soft spot at the least
If you don't want babies you don't supply a nest box. There's no reason why a budgie would get eggnant without a male and nestbox anyway, though sometimes it happens.
Dont do anything just let her drop the eggs on the floor?I know it sounds creul but my cockatiel was by herslef and she dropped an egg, and it dint even break! So she sat on it but i through it out...lol:(

Birds aren't "pregnant". They LAY eggs.

Sometimes you can see a bulge in the lower abdomen, but only for like a day because they lay the eggs so quickly after mating.
You will know in a day or two if she is going to lay eggs. In the meantime, try and provide her with lots of extra calcium just to be safe. Boiled eggs are also a really great additive, just boil a plain egg like you would eat, crumble it up really small and feed it to her.
Also, a vet check would be a really great idea, because sometimes bulges can actually be tumors.

Get one if you want to breed.

Just curious im sure you broke the egg when throwing it out right?

The Tiel was by herself, so there was no chance the egg was fertile. Also this thread is almost 3 yrs old, so most of the OP aren't around anymore to answer questions.
