I'm really Happy that I found this site I just bought 2 Budgies a Male and a female named Papi and Mami ( because I'm spanish) and I'm learning how to care and love them .I'm really new at this I have the guidance from the people at the pet store where I got them but still need more information about it. Everyday I learn something new and I love it! I love my birds and I hope pretty soon the get used to me get in my hand and be friendly so far I only get the male in my finger but he flies away to the cage if he see it , the female is really aggressive, she won't let me touch her she bite me.. At the pet store they adviced me to keep them in different cages just at th ebeginning for the training which work great with the male but the female get crazy over there , she's trying really hard to scape from there biting the toys and opening her wings and acting like she's flying!!! I love both but I really want them to love me as well..
Anyway thanks for the information here little by little I'm reading everything and making myself a better Budgie lover and owner.
