Please help

can someone please help tell what type of budgie these birds are ?

We have just got 2 budgies for our outside aviary which was built by the previous owner so we decided to put some birds in it. We no nothing about them only what the lady at the pet shop told us (which wasn't very much) we payed twice the normal price for these birds cause of their colors i dont know if we got jipped on the price but we payed $40.00 NZ dollars each(normal price $25.00) they told us they are babies and didn't know what sex they are. I looked in this site and from what i see i think they are both female.

Welcome to the forum!!! They are both lookers! both pieds, but i'm not an expert on mutations, so i wont go any further than that! lol

Wow, they are sooo unusal and gorgeous, never seen budgies like that over here (in england) Yeah i agree they are both pied, but i know almost nothing about mutations, lol!! The pic isnt big enough to tell what sex they are, i cant see clearly, but you sound sure they are female :D

I relised i could enlarge the pic, so id say both female, even though the one on the left looks a bit blue its definatly white at the top!!

You have 2females(in my opinion) and the one on the left is quite young as she still has most of her baby bars:)
The other i cant really tell,sorry:(

i think u got 2 little girls, i think they are both dominant pieds but unsure of colour mutations :D theyre both gorgeous

They are just gorgoeus. :)
Both little girls.
The one on the left is a Skyblue Recessive pied and the one on the right is a Yellow Face type II Violet Recessive pied.

I know they are pieds, I'm pretty sure they are girls, and I'm absolutely positive they are gorgeous.
