Bad habit??

when i first brought Lizzie home, she NEVER bit me, now, she has started this thing where she bits me!....And it accually hurts!, she will sit on my finger but if i go to hold her she bits me, i dont know why, when i first got her, she WOULD LET ME hang on her!, can n e one help me out about this?:S

Well, it isn't too surprising that your sweetie has started biting. When you first brought her home, she was probably being quite complacent since she was in a new environment and had not yet established her comfort level; hence she wouldn't bite. Now that she is feeling more comfortable in her new surroundings, she is exerting her budgie prowess.

The key is to not react to the biting (as much as it hurts!!!). You may have to revert back to simply placing your hand in the cage with millet treats for example until she doesn't see your hand as a threat. You'll have to be very patient with your little sweetie, but the benefits of that patience will be rewarding in the long run!

Petri bites too, but she's more aggressive than before, now she'll sit there with her beak open, make noise and they lunge at my finger, when I put my finger between the bars (I used to be able to do it, and she'd come over and nibble on my finger..andstuffles

Greengrass is the WORST for biting, she draws blood! Keep working with Lizzie, she will gain your trust and not bite so much!
