ok well i was thinking about buying abigger cage too. Bea showed me this site. They have some really good cages that aren't expensive.

I'm thinking about buying the 2470 when i can (when my parents let me).

heres a bigger cage like the one you like (its bigger so more expensive too):

http://www.birdandcage.com/iron.html#610 its nice i want it lol.

watch out though, the cage bars should be 1/2" wide so the budgie doesnt get their head stuck through them. These two cages have wider spaced bars so i dont know.

From the site: "Wires are 3/4" apart"

I mean its probably close enough im not sure. And you're right it is a nice cage.

I despise those hagen vision cages, they're so made for the owners viewing pleasure rather than the budgies comfort. I really like the flight cages (2470 breeding cage which newbudgie101 posted a link to), some tips. Look for flat roof cages as dome shaped makes it more difficult to make good use of the space. Look for cages that are long rather than tall, budgies aren't helicopters, they don't fly up. :) And be VERY careful about not getting a cage with bar spacing larger than 1/2", budgies can squeeze their heads through very small spaces and strangle themselves.

i just finished measuring the space where the two cages are now... the 2470 cage would fit nicely on the bureau.... hmmmmm....

Those cages are also very cheap for their size, i would get one if i were you! :D I'm hoping to get one in the near future....i just have to see if i can get my family to agree to move a few things around in the living room so it would fit. ;)
