hey... I don't have a budgie but I have a dog. What has your dog done with your budgie? or your cat? or any other animals you have, just post the chat here if their sad, painful looking, anger bringing, unbeleivable, or halairious just tell us all about the reactions!

When i was about 8 years old my dog jumped up at our budgie cage and knocked it off it's stand, Toby flew out and didn't get away quick enough and Benji caught him.

Toby died instantly :(

I didn't have any budgies after that because it was just too sad.

Benji is still alive and i have 4 budgies but they are up high and he isn't alowed any where near them!

Sorry to start this off with a sad story!

My dogs and budgies tolerate each other. The dogs know not to lay a paw on the budgies or they will get the biggest telling off of their lives!! :P The budgies don't have the same respect and are always being pests and pulling the dogs whiskers and toenails - these little birds sure do live dangerously!!

Ozzie will do it too. Last night he was trying to climb Mickey's leg while Migs was eating his dinner. :rolleyes: But Blinkie is definitely the one who'll go out of the way to find a dog to annoy.
