Have you always liked Budgies?

I kinda always thought they were interesting and kinda cool, though I was terrified of them and all birds. They still kinda make me nervous, but I can at least handle them and not freak out. Still terrified of Seagulls though....

I have loved animals scine I was little and understood them.I really like animals and I have liked budgies too.I have always had at leats 2 pets in my house scine I was born so I grew up with animlas all my life and, i am still taking care of them!:)

I never would have given budgies a second glance had it not been for my brother who brought one home one day in 1999. We fell in love right away with our little budgie Apollo...even though we had no idea how to care for him right off the bat. Thank you brother!!!:p

Smae here! I was 9! But I'd had trillions of animals before, fish, rabbits, guinea pigs, dogs, sea-monkeys and chickens!

I have always loved animals. I had two budgies as a teenager - rehomes from my grandmother. I shudder to think and the poor care I gave them. I know so much more now!!! My real interest in budgies though happened this winter when my mom's two budgies (she didn't even know what sex they were) had a baby. She wouldn't let me have the baby so I got my own in January, and now 5 months later, I have 11. Talk about addictive!!!

I used to be terrified of them until I met my husband!

His Dad bred them and the first time I got to meet my now in-laws there was a budgie flying round the room - it landed on my head and I was in a bit of a panic but didnt want to look soft so just sat there and prayed for it to go away!!

It didnt take long though until I was hooked :)
