All cages are in my living room. I watch TV upstairs after 7 so they can get a good night's sleep.

all of my parrots are adopted as retired breeders
Syndey became a pet and he is my cuddle monkey.
Anthony is still very shy and refuses to be touched but he will now eat and play in front of me although he only comes out of his cage when i'm not around
Levi plucks himself almost naked :( but he is chubby now and he was skinny when i got him.
Scrappy is another 'don't touch me' bird but he loves to whistle and is my sentinel bird and warns me when there is a cat on my front lawn. :)

aaaaaaaaw, theyre so adorable, i want one!! parrots are just so expnsive :(

they are a lot messier than budgies
a lot louder
eat more
need big expensive cages
and can bite like nobodies business !!
they are very high maintenance
I was volunterring at an aviary for 2 years before i got my 1st bird
I recommend that anyone who is interested in getting a larger bird do some volunteering with larger birds first

aw ok, thanks for the advice, im a poor student so its unlikely i'd get a parrot for about 10 years anyway, if i ever do... i might just stick to budgies, i'll see what happens!

Only Sydney is tame.
Levi will take peanuts or almonds from me but that is all.
Last week i almost squeeled with happiness when Anthony took a peanut from me and didn't drop it.
