Hi,
I'm getting my new budgie soon.
A male with a gray body and yellow face.
What should i name him??? :S
i personnally like ricky best.
In the end though, i'm going to name him whatever name fits his personality.
this poll is just for kicks. ;)

I love the name Toby, but like you said personality is key for naming.

P.s. Remember we need to SEE pics of this little guy okay! :cool:

I like Toby aswell. Although there all nice names whatever one you pick. You may find out that none of them fit, so ya personality is the key like A-n-M said.

I just went to see him at the breeder's place,
he is totally a Ricky! He's so awesome!!!
I love him!!!
I'm taking him home in April. :D

Is he actually grey or mauve? I thought I bought a yellow face grey but it seems he is actually mauve.

He is gray with greenishyellow splatters all over him, and a yellowface
he is missing a nail on one of his toes, the breeder thinks it happened in the nest box, but she's not sure, it looks like it'll grow back eventually.
He really likes to nibble on fingers. lol

Doesn't he look like a she? The cere looks white to me or do greys not follow that rule?

No, he's totally a boy. his cere is completely dark purple. and if it was a girl at that age, there wouldn't be any purple.
I compared him to his sister, and you could totally tell she was a girl, and Ricky's cere isn't even close to hers,
so... 100% boy

The picture doesn't show it very well though, it's different in real life. I will post pics once i take him home in april.
