A how to guide on joining or creating a Social Club

Social Groups are a fun way to get to know other members. A lot of us have the same interests and it's fun to get together and discuss and share our endeavors and projects.

If you see a Social Group you would like to join, go to the forum "Social Groups" and click on 'Social Groups'. http://talkbudgies.com/forumdisplay.php?f=49
Go to: Social Groups Forums for the social groups will go there. http://talkbudgies.com/group.php.

You can also open the tab at the top "Community" then click 'Social Groups'.

On the right side you'll see the Social Groups. Click on "View all groups". http://talkbudgies.com/group.php?do=grouplist
Choose the group you are interested in and click on it.
On the upper right side click on "Join Group". That's all there is to it.

To get e-mail notifications whenever there is a new post, click on Group Tools and then click 'subscribe'.

If you wish to start your own Social Group it's easy. http://talkbudgies.com/group.php?do=create

Thanks for that info Arlene, we have so many great Social Groups here. I bet a lot of members don't even realize they exist. A thread like this one is very helpful.
