Yea! A Budgie Forum!

Hi, I'm Budgiekin!

This is my first time on this forum; in fact I only discovered it today. I can't tell you how happy I am that there is a forum all about budgies! How awesome.

I've got three little budgies; Skyla, Kiwi and Aries. Skyla (who I call my "pretty girl") just had wing surgery because of a tumour (so her wing had to be amputated), Kiwi is my little green machine and Aries is my little nipper.

I really look forward to hearing about and seeing pictures of everyone's precious budgies.

Thanks billy and lily. Three of my budgies are still around; unfortunately one of them (Apollo) died last year.:( Skyla just had her wing amputated and is now recovering quite nicely. Kiwi and Aries are going strong!

I look forward to getting to know more people in the "Talk Budgies" forum!

I saw some of your pictures in the gallery. They're really nice. My favorite has to be the one where Kiwi is leading the march! I had to laugh at that one. :D I just can't get enough of Kiwi. That bird is too cute! :D

I loked for a budgie forum. but didnt find one. blue berry buns told me about it at another forum.. so i was pretty happy... I have learned alot from this place... and they are really nice here.!!!!:D

Thanks so much Dave! I really enjoy photographing my budgies and I love seeing others' pictures of theirs! They are such fascinating little creatures! It's no wonder I have well over 1000 photos of my own sweeties!

That's so great! And I certainly agree with you, everyone is really nice here. I find that sometimes, particularly when people own larger, more expensive birds, they are a little. . . how should I say this. . . snooty. I absolutely love all of those other birds too, but there is something about budgies that I just can't get enough of!

It must be that they're so small, yet they have such large personalities.

Aww poor Apollo Ive lost 3 budgies before. Info on them somewhere on the site.:o I don't really know where though.
