Contest #6: Budgie Picture Competition!

The story contest didn't turn out too well, so we're moving on to a new contest.

This will be a budgie picture competition! You can't just post any picture though, they must be related to a specific theme. That theme is budgie friends! Post your budgies together, with other birds, with pets, with people! All pictures must have budgies with their friends.

So here are the rules:

All pictures must be related to the theme of budgie friends. See above for details.
You can only submit one picture, so choose the best one!
It would be preferred if pictures are within the 500x500 limit. There are various websites that will resize pictures for you. If you don't like resizing online, submit your picture to one of our Picture Resizers and they will resize the picture for you!
Be sure to include names of those included in the picture. (If you're included in the picture, and you don't wish to reveal your name, just mentioning yourself as [budgie name]'s owner is fine.)
You may upload pictures as attachments to your posts, or you may host them offsite. Some hosting websites include tinypic.com, photobucket.com, etc. Sorry, the picture hosting feature was disabled on our website. You could, however, upload your picture to the gallery for hosting if you wish.
Captions may be included with your photo, but they're completely optional!Here are some important reminders:

Contest starts March 16, 2007
Contest ends March 30, 2007
Staff will pick the top five entries and a poll will be posted within a week of the contest end
Winners will receive Karma points and bragging rights (what fun, right?).I hope we can have a good time with this contest, as we haven't had many contests lately. Get photo-shooting and submitting!

Since the day i got Tuffy, we have bonded. I'm litteraly his only friend considering the fact Delorean my blue crowned conure would like to have nothing to do with him. In this picture (i took it with my cell) Tuffy is on top of Delorean's cage, don't worry Delorean wasn't in the room, and we are posing. I call this Tuffy's sexii pose :P

Princess is the Cocker Spaniel obviously. :p

This is Detlef and Horst. The two sweeties are former single budgies both, Horst lived alone for three years and showed bad behavioral disorders when I got him. Detlef had to live alone only for a few month, then his people wanted to get rid of him and I took him home.

From the moment on they met the first time, they were best friends. If you see one, the other one can´t be far away. :D

Here's Laker on my son's shoulder - this is how he does homework. I thought the Budgie was my Budgie! LOL They're happy - Laker flies to him when he comes home from school.

Yes Elwood is the bigger one, he's a few months older than Jake.

That was taken quite a while ago and Jake is still pretty small, he eats loads though so i'm not worried, and he's the bossy one :giggle:

Some of the staff will choose the top contenders. Then the top (however many, 5, 3, etc.) will be put into a poll and the members will choose the winner.
