I just got a new budgie (my "older" one Pablo, skyblue clearwing male died recently, but thatīs another story Iīll make a thread later) and was wondering what it was regarding mutation and sex.......

I thought it was a lucky find as Iīve never ever seen a budgie this color EVER..... and for the same price as a regular one........

I have pics but canīt find my usb cable, so Iīll try describe as best as I can....

he/she is completely white, I mean no blue/green at all, but....... he/she does has a yellow hue on the body and back part near the tail and a yellos forehead , which had made me think if it where normal blue it would be yellowfaced 2 but instead of blue itīs all white....... aaand has red eyes which are showing a very small iris ring, just like Pablo was starting to show when he turned 1yr. also the cere is weird the middle part is kind of tan and a bit crusty and the outside parts seem kind of blueish......really weird but I have no clue....

hope you can help me out with this..........thanks ;)

Personally, It sounds like a little Ablino Female, but I'll let some more experienced people tell you for sure.

I agree on the albino part but it's hard to tell.. Could you post pictures of her/him?

I'm saying it's a female ecause of the crusting.
The mutation I think it's Albino, but you said it looks yellow. :S

well only yellow as in a yellowface type2 so I guess more tending towards a creamino.......

Iīll try find my usb to post pics but Iīll try attatching a drawing of the cere

An albino has no pigment, so they couldn't possibly have yellow unless she rubbed her face on a cuttlebone.

If she truly has red eyes and is pale yellowish in colour then you've got a creamino (yellow face albino). I love them, very pretty colour!
