taming 2week olds

All my baby budgies are over 2 weeks old.(ie 2weeks and 3 days and so on)
They have splayed legs unfortunately ,so ill be working on that tomorrow (using the cosmetic sponge method)
What i was wondering was that how much time would it take for baby budgies this old to become tame?because they really wanna leave my hand when i take them on board.
And how many days should the sponge be on??i have 3 babies.
eldest-2weeks and 4days old
young-2weeks and 2days old
youngest-2week old

ill be adding the sponge to all of them since there wasnt any wood shavings in the box for about four days(i know,its not right.ive been nagging to my dad to get the shavings soon.but he was busy with work that time and he said he'd get them tomorrow.i wouldve gone myself to get them,but the area in which the shop is located(the shop where the guy shaves the wood) is really bad.i get scared to venture out there.)

Im not to sure on that one i manage to fix my ones splay legs by doing excrizes with her splay legs and holding them in the right place for few minutes dailey and keeping her in her little bed dont laugh but it seemed to work she now has one slightly splay leg and gets around fine will show u a pic of her what i did with her when she was a baby i took her in at a week old tho she is my fav bird her name is kiki
in pic two kiki is the budgie on the left as u can see her slightly splay leg but her legs were really bad when she was born. Other bird is kikis sis princess she has normal legs tho good luck sum one may no more
