we've lost almost all of our (farm) birds to domestic dogs. we lost a few to a weasel but she just wanted food. the dogs killed them all and left the bodies sitting in the coop.

no they are not strays, they are owned by a 4-H leader, if you know what 4-H is. the dogs also have a record, they've bitten a few kids.
