Unwilling Budgie!

I've been trying to hand tame Camilla for about 3 days now but she seems so reluctant to do so. :( Also she is very stand-offish. Is it normal for her to be like this? She is very young and i would like to gain her trust as soon as possible. Maybe she is just nervous?!?!

very normal!! It takes time for your budgie to adjust to you and the new environment. It is good to slowly introduce your hand into the cage talking gently and soothingly. Don't worry! Take your time and be patient!

Im going one-step at a time with her, im just nervous that she dislikes me though!I take her out every day and she is doing well. I've been teaching her to step up onto my hands one after another like a ladder.

just stick at it, its very early days 3 days is not very long,it may take weeks or months,just carry on as you are she will gain trust in you and get more confident :) you seem to be doing fine.
