budgie laying egg

can anyone tell me if these are signs of an egg to come out soon holly is in the nest box wont evven come out if i open it she looks fluffed up and she is trying to get comfortable are these signs and aqua the male is quietly sitting on his perch are these signs almost forgot her vent is really big??

I think she will lay soon, these are the signs! Lily did all of that once, but no egg.

Could you posta picture of her?It definatly sound s like it but I would ahve to see,I know because my female had 32 eggs and 21 babies through out her breeding time she has died now though.:( Post a pic and ill tell you!:) :) :)

she has been comming in and out when she goes in she lifts her tail flufs up and her wings sort of hang aqua keeps feeding her how long can it take for her to lay an egg and is this a sign?

No take a picture of her!I could tell you if she is going to lay an egg or not.Does she have lager more watery poops,like 10 budgie poops put together.:)

Yes she is going to lay see her lower stomach and you mentioned the droppings being large and watery that meens the egg is coming...she will soon lay...get ready!:) and good luck!

Lily looks like that and her poops are larger than usual, Is she going to lay aswell? *Is hopeful*

ya now she is still in the nest box going in and out alot aqua has been feeding her alot and how can you tell by their stomach if they are going to lay? but what is she doing when she does this she goes in the nest spot picks a spot fluffs up her tail goes a bit higher and her wings hang? and when might she lay?

You can tell by there stomach if you look closely at the bottom its slightly larger also if you feel down her abdomen it is very notice albe, and if she is pooping larger thats definate!I would say another 4-5 days possibly earler or a little bit later.

still no egg but today i was looking at them kissing and all of a sudden holly flew in the nestbox and stayed in there a minute came back out but no egg why would she do that so quickly? also i have noticed her wings have been hanging and she opens them a bit and they shake what is that other than her vent being big and what i told you she is still a happy bird?

holly has pooped two times since about 12:30 1 the first one was bigger and wet but the second was much bigger compare to aquas poops hers are monsters as they get bigger does that mean she is closer to laying? and i still dont understand why she opens her wings and they shake does anyone no ?

Lily is pooping larger, breathing heavilier, her vent is larger, and her lower tummy is fatter.

today i was putting some material in the nest box rite when holly saw me put my hand in there she went nuts she fluffed up she oppend her mouth and started breathing hard it look like she wanted to attack. When i took my hand out she went to go and see what i did she looked in the nest box and that was it does this mean she doesnt want me to go in there anymore can someone tell me because i dont want to stress her out shoud i put more material in the box or leave it how she does it and her wings have been hanging and shaking how long befor she laysss??????:S OH and the base of her tail looks bigger too what does that mean is she getting closer to laying?

her vent is looking hudg and you know where the slit is inbetween them what the use to sit on the eggs? that is looking wider

Those are all signs of a budgie who is going to lay. Just be patient and perhaps you will get your wish to have baby budgies!!! :p

how much longer would it take to actually lay an egg it has already been 6 days shouldnt she have laid one by now or is there still time because as days go by she gets more protective over the nestbox and the wook shavings she made them really small how much longer till she would acctually lay an egg i mean how many days?:S
