Hey guys, My dad and I are almost done building the new cage for my budgies. I would like to put only natural branches inside as perches. The only problem is that I'm not sure what trees would be bad or good for them. Does anyone know of a list that I can get a hold of?

If it helps, I live in the northern suburb of Chicago. Also, I'm not the brightest when it comes to telling what tree is what... :p

Very good decision to use natural branches :)
You can use willow, birch, nut-trees, apple and so on (I donīt know an English list, only a German one - that wonīt help you, huh? :D).

I was told that some pet stores offer natural branches as well.

don't take branches from trees by the road, exhaust may have 'leaked' into the branches.

Instead of saying millet is unhealthy you could instead say it is fattining for them to have too much so use sparingly.
